Story: colleted by myself in 1995. 150km from kalemi.age presumed around 1900. has been restored at her legs. on one of my visits a younger staff member indicate me that he know kabila and his location but didnt had the funds . so i asked where its was located he says not verry far… so we can go togeher. next morning at 6h we started with an extra barrel.of fuel. to the indicated road. extremely tuff after 6 hour i asked is it more far no no not verry far. until 15h more drivining in the midlle of the night he told me here left i could see annything so slowly the driver went left and to my surprise we had reach the front of a vilage square with 20 huts around.

we stopped and closed the engine everybody was silent and no movement to see. after 35min a knock a my door and i had to look down before i saw an little old woman;

ik open de door and “here is your mboko” it was wrapped in a kitenge kind of textille verry wet . i aske how she knew i was comming and pointed to de” young guy” I asked how much she need and i gave her the asked price … i asked where she lived … she showed me a broken hut with nearly no roof. no chidren anymore all where living in a town; she was alone so i asked the neigbours to come forward i asked the price for repairs payed then my staff member saw and me starts to ask his due… thats for later in kalemi. where we discuce the value of his constribution the kabila was from her grand mother she had nearly 85 years i estimate that the kabila is from the 19 century
